Japanese Kanji characters can be pronounced in two ways: "kun-yomi" and "on-yomi."

The challenge lies in the fact that a single character can have multiple pronunciations. Take the word "熨斗紙" (noshi-gami), for example, where the character "熨" has six possible pronunciations: "e" and "utsu" in on-yomi, and "hinoshi," "nosu," "nosi," and "osaeru" in kun-yomi.

Searching for the meaning and pronunciation of this word in a traditional dictionary can be time-consuming.
